In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to make a luxurious rug in a matter of hours (not months, weeks or even days!). using a basic crochet technique. Yarn used in this class is 100% domestically produced. You will learn how to make a chain and how to do single crochet stitch and how to crochet in the round.
All materials are included in class fee.
- Big Loop Yarn (one skein - 40 oz, 80% alpaca, 20% wool) - different colors are available
- Crochet hook (bamboo size U $24)
This class is for absolute beginners. No prior knitting or crocheting experience is necessary
Anna Pulvermakher and Waejong Kim have owned and operated Loopy Mango boutique for 7 years. They been teaching crochet and knitting classes as well as private lessons at Loopy Mango in SoHo since January 2011. They have published "Crochet Jewelry: 40 Beautiful and Unique Designs" in the fall of 2007.
